Hake

Hake can be introduced around 6 months. It's a mild white fish that's easy to prepare and well-accepted by babies.

How to serve at this age

6-9 months: Flake cooked hake and mix with vegetables. 9-12 months: Offer soft flakes as finger food. 12-24 months: Serve in larger pieces or fish cakes.

Nutrition

Excellent source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Contains vitamin B12, selenium, and phosphorus. Low in mercury.
