Onion

Cooked onion can be introduced around 6 months as a flavoring in dishes. It adds sweetness when caramelized.

How to serve at this age

6-9 months: Use finely chopped, well-cooked onion as flavoring in purees. 9-12 months: Include in soups, stews, and sauces. 12-24 months: Use in various cooked dishes.

Good to know
