Rosemary
Rosemary can be introduced around 6 months in small amounts. Its strong, pine-like flavor should be used sparingly.
How to serve at this age
6-9 months: Add a tiny amount of finely minced leaves to meat or potato dishes. 9-12 months: Use in roasted vegetables and chicken preparations. 12-24 months: Include in various roasted dishes and bread.
Nutrition
Contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Good source of iron, calcium, and vitamin B6.
A note from the editors
Rosemary pairs well with lamb, chicken, and potatoes. Use dried rosemary sparingly as it's more potent.
Good to know
Use very small amounts due to strong flavor. Chop very finely or use in cooking and remove before serving.
