Turmeric

Turmeric can be introduced around 6 months in small amounts. This golden spice is known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

How to serve at this age

6-9 months: Add a tiny pinch to vegetable purees or rice. 9-12 months: Use in mild curries or golden milk preparations. 12-24 months: Include in rice dishes, soups, and meat preparations.

A note from the editors
