Watermelon
Watermelon can be introduced around 6 months. It's hydrating and most babies love its sweet taste.
How to serve at this age
6-9 months: Offer seedless watermelon pieces for baby to gum and suck. 9-12 months: Serve small cubes as finger food. 12-24 months: Offer larger pieces or slices.
Nutrition
Excellent for hydration (92% water). Contains lycopene, vitamin C, and vitamin A. Low in calories.

Seedless watermelon is convenient for babies. Watermelon can stain, so prepare for mess!
Good to know
Remove all seeds - they're choking hazards. Ripe watermelon is soft and not typically a choking risk.
