Lemon
Lemon can be introduced around 6 months as a flavoring in foods. Pure lemon juice is too acidic to serve alone.
How to serve at this age
6-9 months: Add a few drops of juice to foods or water. 9-12 months: Use in cooking and marinades. 12-24 months: Include in various recipes and drinks.
Nutrition
Excellent source of vitamin C. Contains antioxidants. Helps the body absorb iron from plant foods.
