  • Fiber-rich

Ingredients

  • Half a medium carrot
  • 6-7 cubes of butternut squash
  • 1 cup of boiled blueberries

Method

  1. 01

Peel and cube the butternut squash and boil it together with peeled carrots. You can boil it in water or steam it. You can also roast it in the oven for a more flavorful result.

  2. 02

Mash the boiled and softened blueberries and add them to the mixture. Mash everything with a fork or blend it for a smooth texture. Tip: To adjust the consistency, you can add olive oil or breast milk or formula milk. Adding breast milk or formula familiar to your baby can ease the transition to solid food. Your baby will be more willing to eat something with a familiar taste. Adding olive oil (about 1 teaspoon) will aid digestion.
