Ingredients

  • 1 courgette (prefer smaller and thinner ones)
  • 50 grams minced meat (lamb is preferable)
  • 1 tablespoon fine bulgur
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 1 tablespoon grated tomato (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon mint
  • 1 tea glass of water or vegetable stock
  • Salt (optional and according to your baby's age)

Method

    Soak the fine bulgur in hot water.

    Wash the courgettes and cut off the ends. You can either split them into two or slice them into rings.

  3. 03

    Use a teaspoon to hollow out the insides of the courgettes.

  4. 04

    Wash the hollowed out courgette flesh and place it in a bowl.

  5. 05

    Add grated onion, soaked bulgur, olive oil, mint to the minced meat and optionally tomato and salt.

    Stuff the courgettes, leaving some space at the top.

  7. 07

    Place the stuffed courgettes in a pot and pour water or vegetable stock over them.

  8. 08

    Cook the stuffed courgettes on low heat for about 20-25 minutes.

  9. 09

    Let them cool down after cooking and sprinkle with dill before serving.

How to offer

Serve in small pieces with yogurt on the side. Your baby can grasp and eat the cooled and softened stuffed courgettes with their fingers.

Storage

Can be stored in the refrigerator.
