Ingredients

  • 3-4 bell peppers (choose small, thin-walled ones)
  • 50 grams ground meat (lamb is preferable)
  • 1 tablespoon fine bulgur
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 1 tablespoon grated tomato (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon mint
  • 2-3 sprigs parsley
  • 1 tea glass water or vegetable juice
  • Salt (optional and according to your baby's age)

Method

  1. 01

    First, soak the bulgur in hot water.

    Wash the peppers and cut off the tops.

  3. 03

    Mix the ground meat with the soaked bulgur, grated onion, olive oil, finely chopped parsley, mint, and if desired, add grated tomato and salt.

    Fill the peppers, leaving a little space at the top.

    Place the stuffed peppers in a pot and add a tea glass of water or vegetable juice.

    Cover the peppers with their own tops or with sliced tomato.

    Cover the pot and cook on low heat.

    Let them cook for about 20-25 minutes.

    Let them cool down a bit before serving after cooking.

How to offer

Serve in small pieces with yogurt or a tzatziki sauce on the side.

Storage

Can be stored in the refrigerator.
