Butter can be introduced around 6 months as an ingredient in cooking. It adds healthy fats important for brain development.
How to serve at this age
6-9 months: Add small amounts to vegetables, grains, or purees. 9-12 months: Use in cooking and baking. 12-24 months: Spread lightly on toast or use in recipes.
