Ingredients
- 1 small soft tortilla or thick bread slice
- 3 tbsp tomato puree (unsalted)
- 1/4 cup fresh mozzarella
- Optional: thin zucchini slices, bell pepper, spinach
- 1 tsp olive oil
Method

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a small soft flour tortilla or a slice of thick bread as the pizza base.

In a small bowl, crush 2 tbsp of canned tomatoes with a fork or use a small amount of unsweetened tomato puree. Spread a thin layer onto the bread or tortilla.

Tear or slice 1/4 cup of fresh mozzarella into small pieces and distribute evenly over the tomato sauce.

Add optional baby-friendly toppings such as very thinly sliced zucchini, small pieces of bell pepper, or torn spinach.

Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and bubbly. Allow to cool for several minutes before cutting into small pieces.

Cut into small bite-sized pieces appropriate for baby after cooling. Ensure cheese is not too hot before offering. A wonderful activity recipe to make together with older toddlers. The whole family can make their own versions.
Storage
Best served fresh. Store leftovers wrapped in foil in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
