Ingredients

  • 1 cup small pasta shapes
  • 1/2 medium zucchini, diced small
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 tbsp parmesan, finely grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup pasta water

Method

  1. 01

Cook 1 cup of small pasta shapes in unsalted boiling water until very soft — slightly past al dente for safe baby eating. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.

  2. 02

Dice 1/2 medium zucchini into small pieces and thaw 1/2 cup frozen peas.

  3. 03

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the zucchini for 4–5 minutes until tender and lightly golden.

  4. 04

Add the thawed peas and the cooked pasta to the pan. Toss together.

  5. 05

Add a splash of the reserved pasta water and 2 tbsp finely grated parmesan. Toss everything together until the pasta is coated in a light, creamy sauce. Add a small drizzle of olive oil for richness. Cool before serving.
